Anti-Trapo Movement of the Philippines
Supports the
Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program
The Anti-Trapo Movement of the Philippines, spearheaded by Ka Leon Estrella Peralta aims to be involved in the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
Anti-Trapo Movement intents to partner up with the DSWD with the goal of of delivering basic social
services to the poor, implementing development projects of the Government and
instituting transparency and accountability mechanisms to fight corruption. For DSWD in particular, this objective
may be done in any of these four ways:
(1) "Bantay" or projects and
activities geared towards fighting corruption;
(2) "Gabay" a
mechanism for extending technical assistance;
(3) "Kaagapay" or anti-poverty
projects and activities; and
(4) "Tulay" which refers to facilitating
action, feedback and monitoring.
