P-NOY’s perceived “INACTION” . . . .
A Betrayal of Public Trust?
Impeachable
or Not?
“WAKE-UP” Commentary

The ANTI-TRAPO MOVEMENT of the Philippines has joined CAOPI on the angle of our belief, that there
seem to exist an alleged “anomalous
conspiracy” between MALACANANG and
the BIG OIL PLAYERS. The dismal perceived “inaction” of Malacanang and its alter ego, the Department of Energy (DOE), to address the urgent pressing problem
of excessive oil prices could possibly be construed by the “PEOPLE” as an apparent solid evidence of the “POLITICAL ILL-WILL”?? (Please
see below author’s meaning and description/s) exorbitantly displayed by the
current administration. Malacanang’s public admission that they
could not do anything to lower down the aforesaid excessive oil prices could
perhaps be interpreted by the “PEOPLE” as a seeming admission of guilt by
P-NOY of his own version of “Betrayal of Public Trust.” To relate to the foregoing, let me borrow the words
of Retired Justice Isagani Cruz, in his opinion, about “Betrayal of Public Trust” which I found to be relative to the
aforesaid Malacanang perceived “inaction”; and “Admission.” According to Retired Justice Cruz, “ ‘Betrayal of Public Trust’ is a catch-all ground which would make any
act unbecoming of a public official such as abuse of authority or neglect of
duty, an impeachable offense even though such acts aren’t crimes.”
Whether or not it’s
deliberate??? P-Noy’s perceived “inaction”, to reiterate, could be probably adjudged by the
“PEOPLE JUDGES” in the Court of Public Opinion as an act unbecoming of
a public official.
PUBLIC OFFICE IS A PUBLIC
TRUST! Every public official and employee
is mandated to serve the public with utmost integrity, dignity, honesty, skills,
intelligence and the like. From the smallest
public employee to no less than the President
of the Republic of the Philippines, are expected to stringently adhere to
the said public service principle and
maxim. The President, being the highest public official of the land, is
stringently accountable to the “PEOPLE”
and by virtue of his apparent perceived “INACTION”
on the urgent pressing problem of excessive oil prices to the point of putting
the “PEOPLE” whom he proclaimed and
acclaimed to be his “BOSSES” to the
brink of financial crunch needs to be assailed by no less than his “BOSSES”, the “PEOPLE.”
IN view of
the foregoing . . . Will the “PEOPLE” resort to IMPEACHMENT?
HIS
“BOSSES” SHALL DECIDE!!!
SOONER??? OR LATER???
