RH BILL
A “Crossroads” Bill

MORALLY WRONG . . . FACTUALLY RIGHT

The RH BILL seems like a “Crossroads” Bill and in essence, once again has divided the entire nation.  Basically for that matter, this Bill transcends in a crossroads between MORALS AND FACTS.   Relative to the aforesaid, the Catholic Church and other Anti-RH Groups firm stances against RH BILL for being Anti-life and Pro-abortion are actually founded on moral grounds while the Coalition of Reproductive Health Groups, one of which is the Philippine College of Physicians Pro-RH BILL equally firm stances are founded on real and actual facts.

The million dollar question is, between opposing groups which firm stances are meritoriously upright? Both are equally upright from their own perspective.

The conflicting uproars of the Pro-RH BILL and the Anti-RH BILL Groups are reverberating into the ears of the entire Filipino People and are quite alarming for these would definitely divide the whole nation completely once the RH BILL is passed into law.

In view of the foregoing, it is the humble opinion of this representation that the RH BILL must be withdrawn immediately and subsequently be re-drafted or introduce amendments to conform with the essentials of lawmaking that it must primordially uphold public morals, customs, and traditions and simultaneously in effect provide curative and corrective provisions to whatever ill-scenarios it want to cure, correct or alleviate.

LAWMAKING is an art, also a science and, it requires skills to possibly bring, if not the entire, the maximum majority of the populace in union to the prospective law proposed to be passed.

In a democracy, we can agree to disagree, but not to the extent of possibly dividing the nation completely to the prejudice of the nation’s unity. RH BILL falls in this category.

IF NOT WITHDRAWN AND BE RE-DRAFTED OR INTRODUCE AMENDMENTS into it, in conformity to the reasons and opinions aforestated, RH BILL, on its current form and substance, MUST BE JUNKED! In The Interest Of Our Nation’s Unity!
